Tetris Movie is Falling into Place

In a world where blocks fit into other blocks, one film company dares to make a movie about Tetris, a video game with no characters or discernible plot. That company is Threshold Entertainment. You might remember them from such cinematic masterpieces as "Mortal Kombat." Threshold CEO Larry Kasanoff told the Wall Street Journal to expect "a very big, epic sci-fi movie" and not just "a bunch of lines running around the page." Tetris was released in 1984 and watched its popularity skyrocket with the release of theNintendo Gameboy in 1989. No word yet on who would direct, star in or conceivably watch the movie, but the concept already has one thing going for it: an absurdly catchy, familiar theme song.
