Don’t ask us how, but a Tetris movie is in the works
REMEMBER TETRIS? THE game where you place big geometric shapes on top of one another? They’re making it into a film.
No, really.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Threshold Entertainment is teaming up with Tetris Company to develop a film based on the legendary game.
How they will adapt this to the screen remains to be seen, but Larry Kasanoff of Threshold Entertainment told Wall Street Journal that it will be “a very big, epic sci-fi movie”.
What you [will] see in ‘Tetris’ is the teeny tip of an iceberg that has intergalactic significance.
Okay, Larry.
The news has left a lot of people puzzled and bemused.
